Bridge Solutions LLC · BridgeCast

Effective 5 October 2026 · Last updated 5 October 2026

The short version

BridgeCast translates speech on your own Mac. We never receive the audio from your room, the words that were spoken, or the translations your listeners hear. None of it is uploaded, none of it reaches our servers, and none of it is processed by any third party. There is nothing for us to sell, lose, or hand over, because we never have it.

What we do hold is the ordinary business record of you being a customer: your account, your licence, and your payment history.

The rest of this page sets that out in detail.

1. Who we are

BridgeCast is operated by Bridge Solutions LLC.

Bridge Solutions LLC is the controller of the personal information described here.

2. What the BridgeCast Mac app sends us — and what it never sends

Never sent

The following stay on your Mac and on your local network at all times:

  • Audio from your microphone or mixer. It is processed on your Mac and discarded.
  • Transcripts of what was said.
  • Translations, whether spoken aloud or displayed as captions.
  • Recordings, if you have recording enabled. They are written to your Mac and stay there.
  • Vocabulary and glossary entries you add.

The translation engine runs entirely on your Mac. It does not call out to a translation service, ours or anyone else's. If you unplug the internet, it keeps working — which is the point of the product.

Sent, when your Mac is online

The app contacts bridgecast.app only for licensing and updates. Specifically:

WhatWhy
Your licence keyTo confirm the licence is valid and active
A device identifier for the MacTo enforce the number of devices your tier allows, and to let you move a licence to a different Mac
Your account email, when you sign inTo show you which licences you own
The app version you are runningTo tell you when a newer version is available

If the Mac is offline, the app keeps working on a previously validated licence. It does not need a connection to translate.

3. What the website collects

When you create an account or buy a licence through bridgecast.app:

  • Account details — your name, email address, and password. Authentication is handled by Clerk; we do not store your password ourselves.
  • Payment details — processed by Stripe. Card numbers are entered directly with Stripe and we never see or store them. We receive a record of the transaction, the last four digits, and the card brand.
  • Licence records — which tier you bought, when, which devices it is activated on, and its renewal status. Licence issuance and validation are handled by Keygen.
  • Email we send you — receipts, licence keys, and support replies, sent through Resend.
  • Support correspondence — anything you write to us, kept so we can help you.

Analytics and advertising

We use analytics and advertising tools to understand how people find and use the website, and to measure whether our advertising works. These may include services such as Google Analytics, Google Ads conversion tracking, and the Meta advertising pixel. They may set cookies and may receive your IP address, the pages you viewed, and whether you completed a purchase.

These tools tell us about visits and purchases. They never receive anything from the BridgeCast app itself — no audio, no transcripts, no translations.

4. BridgeCast Cloud

BridgeCast Cloud is a separate, browser-based product for people who do not have a Mac. It works differently from the Mac app in a way that matters for privacy.

Unlike the Mac app, BridgeCast Cloud processes your audio on servers rather than on your own device. Audio is sent from your browser, translated, and returned to your listeners. Audio and transcripts are used to produce the translation during your session and are not retained afterwards.

If you use only the Mac app, this section does not apply to you.

5. How we use what we hold

We use it to:

  • give you access to what you paid for, and keep your licence working
  • take payment, and renew or cancel your subscription
  • send receipts, licence keys, and service notices
  • answer your questions and fix your problems
  • keep records required for tax and accounting
  • measure our advertising and improve the website
  • detect and prevent licence abuse and fraud

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

6. Who else touches your information

These are our service providers. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

ProviderWhat it handles
StripePayment processing and card data
ClerkAccount sign-in and password security
KeygenLicence key issuance, activation, device limits
ResendTransactional email — receipts, licence keys, replies
CloudflareHosting the installer download
ReplitHosting the bridgecast.app website
Google, MetaWebsite analytics and advertising measurement

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety. If we are ever acquired or merged, customer records would transfer as part of that business — you would be told.

7. How long we keep it

  • Account and licence records — while your account exists, and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax, accounting, and legal records.
  • Payment records — as required by law and by Stripe, typically seven years.
  • Support email — up to three years, so we have context if you come back.

You can ask us to delete your account at any time. Some records we are required to keep, and we will tell you which.

8. Your rights

If you are in California

Under the CCPA and CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to get a copy, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to not be treated differently for exercising any of those rights.

We do not sell personal information as that term is defined in California law. Some advertising cookies described above may be treated as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. You can opt out by emailing us, or by using your browser's privacy settings or the Global Privacy Control signal, which we honour.

If you are in the UK, the EU, or anywhere with similar law

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal information, and to withdraw consent where we relied on it.

How to exercise any of this

Email moises@avbridgesolutions.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm who you are first.

9. Cookies

The website uses:

  • Necessary cookies — to sign you in, keep you signed in, and keep checkout secure. The site does not work without these.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies — as described in section 3, to measure traffic and advertising. You can block these in your browser without losing access to the site.

The Mac app does not use cookies.

10. Children

BridgeCast is sold to organisations and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

11. Security

Payments go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Passwords are handled by Clerk and we never see them. The website is served over HTTPS. The installer is distributed from a private store that is not publicly listed, and the app itself is signed and notarised by Apple so macOS can verify it has not been tampered with.

No system is perfect. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If a change meaningfully affects your rights, we will email account holders rather than rely on you noticing.
